Mace Aviation is developing a small three-wheeled vehicle called the R1 (legally classed as a motorcycle). It has a single seat cockpit, a fuel injected 210 hp four cylinder engine and a lightweight carbon fiber/epoxy monocoque chassis. The vehicle rides on 18 inch wheels with Pirelli PZero tires and has dual wishbone front suspension and a single sided swingarm in the rear with four piston disc brakes at all three positions.
